Santa's New Sleigh - Commercial Animation

A fun project way outside my comfort zone of animation. The stepped keys, mix of 2d hand drawn elements (the squirrel and various fx elements), combined with the stylised look was quiet a challenge. I did these opening shots of Santa and his sleight, but not the chimney coming to life. This project was 2013 and never made it on my site or reel, as I felt it diverged too far from the VFX work I was aiming to get into, so it was shelved. The studio however, Buck in LA, is great and I had a fun time working with them. They've done a lot of other stylised projects that are always top notch.
